The Copper Trees are a Seattle-based duo comprised of singer songwriters and producers Kate Neckel and Eric Lilavois. Neckel and Lilavois, originally from New York City and Los Angeles respectively, started working together after Neckel sought out Lilavois to produce an EP. The duo quickly found that they had a natural connection, sparking the inspiration to further collaborate and form The Copper Trees.

In early 2020, they started writing, recording and producing their debut album “RÊVER” (Available on Vinyl now, and across all digital platforms) at Seattle’s famed London Bridge Studio. In Summer 2020, American Songwriter named The Copper Trees one of the “Five to Discover: Acts You Need to Know”. In July of 2020, the band recorded a performance at the Paramount Theater in Seattle in support of Bloodworks NW, and in November they joined an all-star line up to benefit SMASH (Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare).

In April of 2022 the band released the single "Twenty One" recorded in Cotati Ca, at Prarie Sun Studios, where they also began recording the subsequent single "Midnight Storms" released December 30th, 2022.
